L'offre

This is an Atlantic porfolio company.

The opportunity

Demand for AI compute is outrunning the infrastructure to deliver it, and the environmental bill is growing with it: more fossil power, more freshwater, more land. New capacity on land also means waiting years for power, sites and permits.

We take a different route: we bring compute to the power. Far offshore, the wind blows stronger and steadier than anywhere on land, and no grid will ever reach it. Using it lets AI scale without adding carbon or competing with communities and nature for water and land.

We're building fleets of autonomous ships that turn that wind into AI compute at sea. Each ship carries its own wind turbines and computing on board, and navigates on its own across the open ocean, following the strongest and steadiest winds. No mooring, no cables to shore: the fleet goes where the energy is. It's AI infrastructure built from the ground up for the open ocean, from power systems and autonomy to high-density computing, engineered to run in one of the harshest environments on Earth. No grid queue. No freshwater. No land. Zero-carbon compute that scales with the fleet.

  • Firm, low-carbon power at a target cost of ~€50/MWh, one of the biggest costs in running AI compute

  • 70%+ capacity factor: offshore wind that behaves like baseload

  • First demonstrator at sea in late 2027

Founded in 2025 by repeat entrepreneurs and industrial leaders. Backed by major international investors.

The mandate

You'll work directly with the CEO and the board and own the company's business strategy as we go from first demonstrator to fleet.

Our platform opens several paths to value across compute and infrastructure, from capacity to hardware to the services around them. You'll decide which to pursue first, build them into the core of the company, and open new ones as the fleet grows.

What you'll own

  • Business model & strategy. Shape the business model and evolve it as we scale: products, markets, pricing and unit economics. Turn a breakthrough technology into a bankable one.

  • Strategic partnerships. Decide which partners and customers we build the company with, from AI labs and cloud providers to chipmakers and sovereign compute programmes, and secure the relationships that shape our first fleet.

  • Capital strategy. Work with the CEO on how the business case underpins project finance and fundraising, and own that story with investors and the board.

  • Product direction. Make sure what we build at sea is shaped by where the market is going, working hand in hand with our marine, power and systems engineers.

  • Ecosystem & alliances. Build the partnerships a new infrastructure class needs: chip and systems vendors, cloud platforms, data center operators, ports and financiers.

  • Category leadership. Be our external voice on summit stages, with policymakers and in the press, and make us the reference for AI infrastructure at sea.

  • The business organisation. Build and lead the team across strategy, partnerships and commercial that takes us from demonstrator to fleet.

Who you are

  • You've built businesses in deep tech or infrastructure. You've led strategy, business development or a P&L in AI, cloud, data centers or semiconductors, and shaped large, multi-year partnerships.

  • You've taken frontier technology to market. You've brought new, capital-intensive technology to its first major customers and closed the off-take agreements, capacity reservations or long-term contracts that made it bankable.

  • You build, not just run. You've built something from zero, whether a company, a business line or a market, and you're at your best when the playbook doesn't exist yet.

  • You see the whole board. You move between unit economics, partnerships, financing and long-term strategy in the same afternoon.

  • You know AI infrastructure from the inside. Compute economics, workload constraints, and where the market is heading.

  • Compute and infrastructure are your world. GPUs, data centers, power and the economics that tie them together. You hold your own with engineers and turn technical depth into business strategy.

  • The mission matters to you. A business built on AI infrastructure at sea excites you, and you want your work to help AI grow without costing the planet.

  • You work in English. Fluent English is required; French is a plus.

How you operate

  • Ownership. You treat the company's outcomes as your own, well beyond your remit.

  • First principles. You reason from the economics and the physics, not from how the market has always worked.

  • Bold and rigorous. You make big bets and do the work to back them.

  • AI-native. You use modern tools to think, decide and move faster.

Why this role

  • A C-level mandate across strategy, product and capital, working directly with the CEO and the board

  • The chance to define how compute infrastructure at sea becomes a business, and to keep redefining it as it scales

  • An uncompromising team of repeat entrepreneurs and industrial leaders, backed by top-tier international capital

  • Based wherever you do your best work, with a global mandate and flexible hours. Our home port is Nantes.
